This is the time of the year when mail really matters to a lot of people, especially the ones who have worked hard all year to support their family, pay for college, pay the mortgage, and etc. During this time of the year W-2s are mailed out from our respective employers, and once they’re received people are ready to schedule appointments with their tax preparers to see what kind of refund that they will receive. This refund can literally change some individuals, or families life who might be struggling to make ends meet, that’s why it’s so important to have a good change of address on file. There are a lot of people who say when they move that I don’t want any bills to follow me, so whenever I move I will contact who I need to contact to pay whatever bills that are necessary to be paid. When you move, and don’t fill out a change of address, you’re not only hurting yourself, but you could be hurting your children as well. The reason that I make this statement is that once you fill out your information at the tax office, and you put down your old address, or the last known address that the I.R.S., has on file for you, then that’s where your refund check will go, and once the letter carrier sees that you moved, and didn’t fill out a change of address form, then your income tax refund check will be returned to the I.R.S., and you sit there wondering why you didn’t receive it. So if you don’t think that filling out a change of address is important then, I assume that your income tax refund check isn’t important to you as well. Here on www.iwantmymail.com you can fill out your change of address, and no matter how often that you move during the year, you have the power to update your information 24/7 free of charge.
